Calling all Scottsdale Parents! DID YOU KNOW???!!! We are required to bring 1-3 officials to EVERY SINGLE SWIM MEET! We currently only have 5 qualified Stroke & Turn, and Starter Refs. We need as many people trained for this as possible. Stroke and Turn shifts can be split at swim meets making them short shifts and an excellent job choice for parents with younger swimmers. You are required to attend this training to work as an official. Please RSVP and attend if you can! SSC will provide you with an officials polo, and a whistle. Its a 2 hour training which is a small amount of time when you consider how much shorter your swim meet work shifts will be!

9 & Up Spring Clinic

OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS

MARCH 6 - March 30, 2023

The Spring Clinic is for swimmers ages 9 and Up who are proficient in all 4 strokes and are looking to prepare for swim team or just improve on their Stroke Technique. The coach to swimmer ratio in this program is 7 swimmers to one coach. We will focus on all 4 strokes as well as starts and turns.

Spring clinic is from 4:55-5:40pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This Clinic offers the option of 2, 3 or 4 days per week and we encourage as many days as possible to get the most out of your pre-season training.

Cost for Both Clinics:

2 days a week is $175 for Scottsdale Swim Club Members and $250 for Non-Members

3 days a week is $200 for Scottsdale Swim Club Members and $275 for Non-Members

4 days a week is $225 for Scottsdale Swim Club Members and $300 for Non-Members

Mini Squid Clinicis a 4 day-a-week program for swimmers ages 4 and up. This program is designed to prepare your young swimmer(s) for swim team or, if you are not sure about swim team, will give your swimmer(s) good basic swim technique to help improve their stroke and confidence in the water. The lessons are semi-private in nature with a maximum of 3-4 swimmers per coach. The swimmers are grouped together based on skill level.

As a safety precaution, we ask that your swimmer pass a water safety evaluation if they have never done swim team before. We want to make sure that your swimmer will willingly put his/her face in the water and can swim unassisted for about 5 to 10 yards. The Water Safety Evaluation is scheduled for March 5th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Scottsdale Swim Club.

COST: Your first session is $300 per swimmer for SSC Members and $375 for Non-Members. Each additional session will be $250 for Members and $325 for Non-Members.
